Annie Murphy is the name of Anne Frances Murphy who was born on December 19, 1986. She hails from Canada and works in the Hollywood film industry. She did many projects. Her main role was that as Alexis Rose from the CBC sitcom Schitt's Mill, a series which started in 2014 and finished in the year 2020. Her performance was praised by critics, and she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. Born in Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. Both her parents were teachers. Elmwood School Ottawa was where she started performing on the stage. After that, she attended Concordia University from where she pursued a degree in theatre performance. She then took courses in the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory and was able to learn about acting. Then she relocated to Los Angeles at the age of 22 and pursued acting as a career. Annie Murphy made her acting debut in 2007 when she appeared in the thriller television movie Lethal Obsession. She continued her acting career and also played small extra parts in a variety of movies. A few of them were very successful, like Story of Jen in 2008 Lick that came out in 2010, or the other big success A Windigo Tale. She also appeared on Canadian television series like Good God aired on 2012 Rookie Blue aired that same year. It appears that she is capable of taking on a variety of characters.
