Grimes was born within Dayton Ohio as the son of a Pentecostal clergyman. Grimes attended Dayton Christian High School from 2002 to 2003. Luke Timothy Grimes, born in Dayton, Ohio U.S.A. on January 21, 1984. He is the child of Randy Grimes a Pentecostal pastor and Angie Barker. Luke Grimes comes from a family of three: Racheal Grimes (his sister), Abby Grimes (her brother), and Seth Grimes. The family of his parents was very religious and strict. He graduated from Dayton Christian High School. Luke has graduated from high school in the year 2002 relocating into New York City where he set out to fulfill his goal of becoming an actor. He enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in which he studied acting for two years. The musical abilities of his were developed through singing and guitar classes.
