Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. The actress has won praise for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). When she was in New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. While working as an assistant to photographers She turned her focus to acting and modeling. She was noticed in her two first films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular newcomer. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought fame to the world, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, she was named the most popular female box-office starter in the whole world. The Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature with handprints, foot prints and handprints in the year 1972.
